Marketing Intern
A Marketing Intern position has become available at First Care Solutions (Pty) Ltd. This developmental role provides administrative, creative, and operational support to the marketing function.
The successful candidate will assist with market research, social media coordination, content preparation, campaign support, and general marketing administration. The role offers practical exposure to healthcare marketing and communication activities while supporting the broader business objectives of the organisation.

Minimum Requirements
- Matriculation Certificate.
- Currently studying towards a qualification in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field would be beneficial.
- Proven desire to further personal development and career path within the Marketing space.
- Basic understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing.
- Computer literacy including Microsoft Office applications.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic design skills or exposure to Canva, Adobe, or similar platforms advantageous.
- Previous internship or administrative experience advantageous but not essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Daily Operations
- Assist with market and competitor research.
- Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns.
- Assist with preparing marketing presentations and promotional materials.
- Draft and schedule social media content.
- Monitor social media engagement and basic analytics.
- Assist with updating website and digital content where applicable.
- Maintain marketing databases, filing systems, and contact lists.
- Assist with internal communications and newsletters.
- Support event planning, activations, and promotional activities.
- Coordinate marketing material distribution and stock control.
- Assist with sourcing branded items and supplier coordination.
- Capture and maintain campaign performance data.
- Assist with compiling monthly marketing reports and statistics.
- Perform general administrative duties within the marketing department.
- Ensure all marketing material aligns with company branding guidelines.
- Support ad hoc projects and departmental requirements.
Research & Analysis:
- Conduct market and competitor research to support marketing initiatives.
- Research industry trends, healthcare marketing developments, and consumer behaviour.
- Gather and compile data for campaigns, presentations, and marketing reports.
- Assist with customer feedback surveys and analysis.
- Monitor competitor marketing activities and promotional campaigns.
- Research potential partnership, sponsorship, and advertising opportunities.
- Assist with analysing campaign performance and engagement metrics.
- Compile research findings into summary reports for management review.
Statistic’s:
- Compile social media and digital engagement statistics.
- Update campaign tracking reports and marketing databases.
- Assist with monthly marketing performance reporting.
- Monitor campaign reach, engagement, and basic analytics.
- Maintain accurate records of marketing activities and campaign outcomes.
Monthly Reporting:
- Assist with monthly campaign reporting.
- Support marketing content planning and scheduling.
- Review and organise marketing assets and documentation.
- Assist with updating marketing calendars and campaign trackers.
