Logistics and Operations Administrator
A medical administration training company in Sandton, Johannesburg is looking for an experienced Logistics and Operations Administrator who is willing to work hard and grow with the company. Direct reporting line is to the Logistics and Operations Manager. This person will be responsible for taking on a variety of tasks that allow for successful completion of logistics and general activities. The successful candidate will assist with travel, stock control as well as other administrative duties assigned.

Skills Required / Attributes
- NQF 5 (Higher Certificate) or higher relevant qualification.
- Valid Drivers License.
- 2+ years’ experience working in Logistics and general services.
- Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing conditions
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Must be willing to travel.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Reliable.
- Able to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintaining databases to support inventory control.
- Stock control of pre-printed stationery and distribution to clients and units, as well as logistics support to African Institute of Emergency Medicine (Pty) / AIEM.
- Financial processing of quotations, purchase orders and submissions of correct documentation and invoices for timely payments.
- Organize travel logistics for FCS Group.
- Stock control and distribution of uniforms, name badges and stamps.
- Stock control & distribution of branded merchandise.
- Filing, organising and performing various general office support functions as assigned including delivery of documents or materials across the FCS Group.
- Maintains cleanliness and serviceability of facilities, plants, grounds and equipment.
- Liaise with various units in the head office to collate supply needs.
- Assist with the purchase and distribution of all consumables.
- Carries out activities related to shipping and receiving of materials.
- Distribution and coordination of training materials.
- Administrative support to African Institute of Emergency Medicine (Pty) Ltd / AIEM as a redundancy function.
- Oversight of the Logistics Assistant job function.
- Be available as a resource for the Logistics and Operations Manager who needs assistance with completing large projects.
